How Did You Get Started?

My father was a bodybuilder when he was younger, so I literally grew up with the sport. I remember reading his old copies of Strength and Health and Muscle Builder and I was hooked.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I always switch my workouts depending on what my current goals are. When I'm bulking, I lift three days a week on a split program, concentrating on heavy compound movements. While dieting, I increase to four days a week and include some isolation work. I always lift to fail somewhere between 6-10 repetitions and train each major bodypart only once a week.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

I'm a big believer in supplementation, and have tried almost everything on the market. Meal Replacements are my number one supplement. It's hard to eat right when you have a busy schedule, and MRP's make it easy. Two other of my favorites are Creatine, which I use year around, and the E/C/A stack, which I use only when dieting down for a contest.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

It's hard to define why I love bodybuilding. The feeling I get from lifting is euphoric. I love the fact that bodybuilding adds discipline to my life and makes me look and feel healthy.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My immediate plans are to compete in two more contests in September and to continue to improve my physique. Eventally I would like to get into personal training, or perhaps even some modeling. I look forward to staying in this sport for a long time!

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Bodybuilders, as a general rule, tend to set limits for themselves. I encourage them to set the bar higher, and to go for what others think is impossible. Always give 100% percent effort to everything you do.
