How Did You Get Started?
I've been seriously working out since March of 2000. My workout partner convinced me that I had the potential
to be a good bodybuilder. I didn't believe him until I started seeing the
changes that my body was going through after I first started. I owe it all
to him. My first competition was June 24,2000, Mr./Ms. Ohio - 2nd place Lt. wt.
Next competitions: July 15, 2000, Midwest novice BB championships.- 5th
place Lt. wt. September 9, 2000, All Armed Forces - 4th place Lt.wt. October 14, 2000, Ohio Governor's Cup - not so good (11 out of 13). I kinda
let myself go for that one. What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Workout Plan:
It gets switched up a lot, but the basics are:
Cardio: About 5 times per week, usually 30 to 45 min. each session. (High
intensity)
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains? Definitely the amino acids. Even with all the cardio I do, I'm still keeping all of my muscle mass... and plus they help me burn more bodyfat. Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love the way it makes me feel and I get a kick
out of people's reactions when the see me and then ask how old I am.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? First I want to win an overall title in a smaller show, then possible move on to the national level. (Catch up to my workout partner) Also, get my personal trainer certification. I test in April! This year, I'm planning on doing at least one competition per month starting with the Battle of Champions March 24 until October. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? No matter what happens in your life, don't let it distract you from reaching your bodybuilding/fitness goals. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders? Frank Zane, Gayle Mohr.
