How Did You Get Started?

I use to train for competitive sports in high school, but I took it more serious when I saw the Fitness America Pageant on TV. I saw that those girls were beautiful and in great shape, I wanted to look that way!! I have always had great legs and I knew with a little hard work I could be like those gals! ight>

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

A workout that consists of high reps and moderate weight. I do not believe in training heavy anymore, since my physique is where I am satisfied with it muscularly. The days are usually Bi/Triceps, Back, Chest/Shoulders, Quads, then Hamstrings on a different day. I have found that doing quads, including squats on one day, then hamstrings on a separate day work better for me.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I have the best nutritionist in the Midwest! His name is Gary Dean (former Mr. Indiana) He has helped me with my plan for the past three years and I have made huge improvements. We have the same nutritional training and certification, but I like to feel accountable to someone and I don't feel like putting mine together. It's a balance meal plan that follows roughly 30% 50% 20% ratios, split between Protein, Carbs and Fat. It changes as the weeks go on according to Gary, but it's the best diet I have ever been on!

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

All Sci-Fit products. My body responds well to them and I have never been disappointed with the results. I use their Amino complex, Creatine and Glutamine. I have gained almost 5 lbs in four weeks using their supplements!

Why Do You Love Fitness?

Because I enjoy the end results. I like to see what I have achieved (training wise) throughout the year. I do think that it is the best sport because anyone can do it and it is entirely up to you, no one makes you get up in the day to train, so you are accountable. Plus it's a fun way to outlet my competitive nature!

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I plan on turning pro! I have come close this past year, and this year I plan to compete in every National Level contest to make sure that happens. I would like to promote the sport to everyone, and this would be the best way!

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?

Please, Please, Please work on your stage presence. (This includes walking in heels, suits, and stances) I see so many girls that compete who look awesome, but their stage presence is atrocious! It's silly to train and diet for several months then blow it when you compete because you did not spend the time practicing posing.

Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Competitors/Bodybuilders?

My favorite bodybuilder has to be Victor Martinez. He has a beautiful physique with the big, bubbly muscles, and my favorite fitness competitor would have to be Jenny Worth. She is both beautiful and has an awesome physique.
