How Did You Get Started?

I started to become serious in bodybuilding when I was 22 years old. I joined a local gym hoping to gain muscle. At the time I only weighed 108 lbs soaking wet. My nutrition profile was terrible, skipping meals for hours at a time and consuming hardly any quality protein throughout my day. The Gym I attended had a nutrition program set up so I gave it a shot and fell in love with the whole bodybuilding aspect. In the first six months I gained 30 lbs of muscle. It was then I started to prepare for my first bodybuilding contest, and the rest as they say is history.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

  • Sun: Off Day
  • Mon: Back and Traps
  • Tue: Chest and Calves
  • Wed: Bi’s and Tri’s
  • Thu: Legs and Abs
  • Fri: Shoulders and Forearms
  • Sat: Off Day
This rotation changed every 4 weeks, all compound movements.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I eat 12 times per day, focusing on high protein, medium range carbs, and a semi low fat diet. I really try to focus on post workout nutrition the most. I also have a clinical nutrition degree, so this enables me to have a good background as I continue to pursue my bodybuilding goals.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Whey Protein, MRP's (although I consider these more of a food than a supplement), L-Glutamine, Creatine, NO-Xplode, and plenty of Antioxidants have been the biggest help in building my body.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

It keeps me focused on a goal, to do my very best and improve every time I compete. I am a very goal oriented person.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I’m preparing for the 2005 Musclemania Atlantic States. I won the bantamweight class this year and am hoping to compete as a legitimate lightweight.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Be patient, and never give up on your dreams. Believe in yourself!

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

Skip LaCour, and Jeff Willet, as well as anyone who shares my passion for this sport.
