How Did You Get Started? I started teaching classes 11 years ago, was always very aerobic, and I knew I had to balance my body with weight training - in 1996, I became a personal trainer. My goal was to become a little stronger every few weeks. Tried to transfer my knowledge onto my clients. Four years ago I opened up my own personal training studio. Slowly I finally decided to become a bodybuilder, and started competing in amateur shows 3 years ago. What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I suggest 1 body part a day, very intense. working out 6 days a week. In order to build muscle mass, I only suggest 4 days of cardio starting at 25 minutes. What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You? Eating moderate meals, getting enough fat & carbs at first. Then when it's time to start cutting back, moderate amounts of fats 6 small meals a day, plenty of water.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I truly started bodybuilding to "destress" from my family life, it was the 1 1/2 hour I had for "myself" without any interruptions. Bodybuilding & training is my life, and has been in my life for years. It only becomes a job when I am 5 weeks away from a show, and I am truly getting tired. What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
My bodybuilding plan is to become a pro natural bodybuilder. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? The one tip I can give is, stay focused on your goals, it is all worth it when you go on stage and have fun with yourself up there. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders? Julia Bergmann, Franco Columbu are two of my favorite bodybuilders.
