How Did You Get Started?

I know every competitor says this, but growing up I was active and athletic. I was in gymnastics, swim team, & cheerleading. I got my first gym membership for my 15th birthday and about my junior year in high school I wanted to get a personal trainer and started seriously lifting everyday. After high school I was looking for something to do that would incorporate my gymnastics/dance/cheerleading and weight lifting. At the time fitness pro Nicole Hobbs worked as a trainer at my gym and I told my trainer I want to look like her! I began to look into the fitness competitions and I knew it was for me! so I got started at the age of 17 lifting and working with my choreographer for my first show.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I have been working on more size for my upper body which I use heavier weight and 12, 10, 8 reps. For my lower body, which genetically I have very muscular legs, I have to use light weight and high reps anywhere between 25-50 reps!

Why Do You Love Fitness?

I have learned so much about myself because of fitness. Competing in fitness I have learned how to set goals not only for competing but also for life in general. I have learned how to challenge and push myself when I feel like the easiest thing to do is give up. So I guess I can say I love fitness beacause it challenges me to be the best person I can be everyday.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My dream and goal is to earn my pro card as a fitness competitor and sign a contract with a supplement company.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?

When people tell you that you can't do it or don't support your dreams/goals, use what they have told you as motivation to accomplish your goals and prove them wrong!!

Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Competitors/Bodybuilders?

I love Kelly Ryan! She is my idol! When she performs you can't take your eyes off her because she is such an amazing entertainer! Also Jen Hendershott...she is so full of energy.
