How Did You Get Started?

At the start of the millennium an idea was born. A fine young man had a dream. The goal was simple: to improve a physique in order to become a better football player. Seven grueling years of hard work and exercise gave him a great foundation as he trained for football. After his final seventh year he took his life path in a different direction: BODYBUILDING. The love of the sport was natural to him. He dedicated the majority of his life to working out as it was, and he appreciated the discipline which came with the sport.

What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?

Passion from the flame that burns within. How it all began!

I remember way back when I started lifting it was during a time in my life when I was anticipating playing my first year of football, very excited, wasn't popular by any means, had a lot of energy, loved sports, and took it upon myself to begin lifting. My bedroom was kind of crammed but I made the best of it, all I needed was floor space. At age 10 I started spending endless hours doing hundreds and hundreds of push-ups, crunches, and dumbbell curls. It was inevitable and completely natural to me, and I haven't looked back since.

That year in football I was a starter on defense and our team won the Championship, next year was a different story. This time period was crucial; at the time I was introduced to bullying as I was two years younger than the two bullies. These insecure, unhappy individuals made the first two years at Junior High a torturous experience for me. It got to the point where my Grandmother and Mother had to meet me halfway home to make sure I wasn't being bothered, but I have grown much from this time and am thankful for this experience because this set the flame off in me. Something spontaneously combusted within my soul - a hatred toward another.

Fortunately for me I harbored my anger into something I consider positive: working out. Bottom line is that it really affected me; it's stuff like this that promotes growth in our lives, so for me I look at everything including this experience as a blessing!

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

Competing at the pro level, hopefully getting a sponsor and publicity so that I can train at an even higher level. To continue to bodybuilding and at the least work out for the rest of my life, promoting wellness in others as well as earning my pro card in the near future.
