How Did You Get Started?

I was an active kid growing up, skateboarding, riding, BMX, climbing trees. My first year of high school I got a part time job with my father, and during that time I had a life changing freak accident, a car hit a parked car I was in. The impact had cracked my left rotator cuff, tore out all 3 heads of my shoulder, split my bicep and triceps heads in half, left a bad contusion in my left knee almost breaking my knee cap off, and four broken ribs. The doctors said I would never use my left arm again, that I needed surgery and that no one would recover from my injuries without it.

I was told I would never play guitar or walk right ever again, but my mom said, "No, she's not going to need surgery, God's going to heal her." I found a doctor that said I would need intense therapy for a year and my mom had an amazing female trainer at that time. Alongside they worked together, she advising him with possible exercises and him giving me the therapy I needed. Since then I started lifting weights and got into endurance racing. I recovered 110% doing things in the gym that the doctors said I would never in my wild dreams do. God put the right people with the right knowledge at the right time in my life, and it started me on my fitness journey.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

4-5 days a week, moderate weight, nothing too heavy. My workouts change all the time; I don't think I ever do the same thing twice. Warming up is one of my biggest things. I take my time with it, really feeling what I'm going to do that day. That's the one thing that never changes in my routine and I've kept for years.

Day 1: Back
Day 2: AM Lower Back/Glutes, PM Quads/Hams
Day 3: PM Light Cardio Only
Day 4: Arms/Abs
Day 5: AM Back, PM Shoulders
Day 6: Arms/Light Chest
Day 7: Off

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

High protein, high carb diet with minimal fats. Using this and manipulating it during photo shoot or contest time has worked best for me.
