How Did You Get Started?

I was introduced to bodybuilding by my father who still works out today. I was 13 years old and started working out in the high school gym before classes started. I would also workout at lunch time to get more sets in. The next few years I progressed rapidly and I've never quit.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

The best workout plan for me is doing one major body part every 5 days. I currently do the following routine:

  • Chest/Biceps
  • Legs
  • Back/Triceps
  • Shoulders
  • Day off and repeat.
I train abs and calves averaging twice/week.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Supplements that have given me the greatest gains are creatine and huge amounts of protein.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

In 2003 I'm planning on winning the overall for Mr. Saskatchewan. The Canadian Nationals will be in my hometown shortly after that Provincial contest. I would love to compete in that one also. My plans are to compete at the same bodyweight but leaner and harder.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

The biggest one tip that I feel other bodybuilders must learn is the importance of nutrition. Bodybuilding is one of the toughest sports because there are so many variables to focus on in order to compete and do well.
