How Did You Get Started?
I have always been athletic and active, but when I was in high school I took a weight lifting class that really got me started. After high school when I went to college I took many more health/fitness classes as my elective classes and fell in love with it all. A few years ago I had a friend tell me that I should do a figure competition, and I thought to myself, "No way. I could never look like that or get that lean." I toyed with the idea for a year or two and saw a few different competitors preparing for their shows, when I saw how in shape and lean they were I knew I wanted to do it.
So I prepared for my first NPC figure show in October of 08, I didn't place but definitely got my feet wet and learned a lot. I didn't even take any time off and started preparing for the next NPC show in March of 09. The show as on March 28, 2009, I took third in the figure short class out of 12 girls. I was on cloud 9! The feeling I got from the show definitely makes me want to work harder and win 1st!

Wanting to have the body I have always dreamed about. Nothing feels better to have self confidence and look and feel healthy.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
Wow where to start...I want to continue competing and one day win an overall trophy and hopefully get my pro card. I am also going to start working towards getting my personal training certification so I can teach and help other people achieve their goals and get the results they want. My ultimate dream would be to one day start fitness modeling and appear in a magazine.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?
You can't expect to have a competitor's body without time. Everything takes time, patience and consistency! Never give up! If you want to look good it is truly a lifestyle change.
"If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results." Always keep working at your goals and never let them slip away, and don't let anything get in your way. If it is something you truly want, you will get it.

The website is endless!! I love reading the forums for advice, tips and recipes. On the supersite there is on article on practically anything you can think of. I am always browsing through the articles to get educated. And we can't forget the store; I love reading up on new supplements and buying products, knowing they will be on my door step the next day.
