How Did You Get Started?
My freshmen year in high school was the first time I was introduced to weight training. I didn't really know much at that point but one thing was clear, weight training can transform your body. I immediately new that this was something I would always keep as apart of my life. It wasn't until a few years ago that I really started to research how the professionals trained. I saw so many people with amazing bodies on covers of magazines and told myself "If they could do it. So can I."
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I've gone through many different workout programs. But the one that I feel works best for me is my double session 5 day rotation workouts. I always do cardio in the morning and weight training in the afternoon. Splitting my workouts this way helps me focus on one aspect of my training at a time without trying to rush through a session.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
My nutrition plan, as of now, is very simple. I like to maintain a low or no carb and high protein diet. Most of my carbs are high in fiber, (veggies, wheat bran, oatmeal etc.) Also I consume all of my carbs in the morning to early afternoon, and nothing else but protein after that. I must go to sleep carb depleted every day.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding for a couple of reasons. First, bodybuilding is a sport that requires a lot of discipline, both mental and physical. Being a martial artist, I am always intrigued with anything that challenges the mind and body. Second, the changes that take place. When I say changes I don't just mean the obvious appearance but also the changes in your life.
A healthier life style is something people resolute for every December 31st, as we all know. But there comes a point in your training, as long as you stay consistent, that it just takes over your life. You longer have to wish for a healthier life because you live it everyday.
What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?
My motivation to follow a healthy lifestyle comes from everyone around me. Being a martial arts instructor, I'm constantly around people that want to reshape their lives. So when they look at me, I need to resemble a person that can help them achieve their goals. Not by what I say, but what I do. Being an example for others is all the motivation I need. And since there are so many people in this world, that motivation will never falter.
What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?
When I'm in the gym I am often asked to whether I was a competitor or fitness model. My answer was always no. I just enjoyed the workouts. But it got me thinking. So many people already assumed I was a bodybuilder or fitness model, maybe I could become one. And in doing so, I would be able to inspire people on a larger scale.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
My bodybuilding plans are to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in the fitness industry. And make it on numerous national fitness magazine covers.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
One tip I would give other fitness competitors is to always stay consistent and to never allow people or circumstances make you lose focus of your goal. Stay dedicated to your training and surround yourself with others that share your ideals. That way, you will always have a healthy support group.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
My favorite Fitness Competitor, although she doesn't compete any more, is Pauline Nordin. Her dedication and passion for training is so inspirational. She was also one of the first people that noticed to maintain a lean figure year round. After seeing that, I knew it was possible for me to do the same. Her motto is "Discipline Your Dedication". Discipline is about having repetition and accountability. And she definitely practices what she preaches.
What Features Do You Use On Bodybuilding.com?
I use pretty much all the features on Bodybuilding.com. My favorite on has to be BodySpace. Surrounding myself with people that love to live a healthy lifestyle has helped me stay on track. They say if you hang around nine people that all smoke, you will be the tenth one. If you spend time with nine people that consume alcohol, you will be the tenth one. So I use BodySpace because there are so many people that have achieved physical and mental greatness, and I want to be the tenth one.
