How Did You Get Started?
I have always loved athletics and fitness. After the birth of my second child, I knew I needed to step it up big time! I loved being a Mom but I wanted to be a HOT Mom. With the encouragement of friends and family I entered my first Figure Competition last April. All of my hard work and dedication won first place and the overall title. In November I competed again and brought home another first place qualifying me for competition at the National level. This is just the beginning for me and I assure you there are big things to come for this Hot Mom.

Why Do You Love Fitness?
Fitness is a way of life for me. I may be traveling, snowed in or on kid duty but I can still exercise. Having a love for weights and the dedication to be the best has put me on the stage to compete. After all my years in athletics I have finally found my niche. Competing in Figure.
What Are Your Future Fitness Plans?
2009 is my year! I strive to become a top Figure competitor winning my pro card and eventually earning a place on the Olympia Stage. I want to be a role model for other moms and show them that they too can accomplish their fitness goals. A magazine cover wouldn't be bad either!

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?
My number one tip would be to set a goal and commit 100% mentally and physically to achieving it. Knowing that you can have and do whatever you focus on will help you create the reality of being a star! And don't be afraid to eat lots of healthy fat!
Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Competitors/Bodybuilders?
I am a huge fan of all competitors who have gone through pregnancies. Too many women have the misconception that having children ruins the body. So not true! My favorite is Jen Gates. She is a role model for all women and mothers.
