How Did You Get Started?

I started training when I met my husband Paul Wilk who is a natural bodybuilder and personal trainer. I didn't take it too seriously until 2 months before the wedding. I went for a dress fitting and they told me that I have to loose about 8 lbs. or they would have to make my size bigger. At that point I completely trusted my husband and did everything he told me to do. 2 months later on our wedding day I was 15 lbs. lighter and toned. This is when weight training became my passion and I fell in love with it.

I trained for 3 years and last year we decided that I should compete. After 4 months of serious contest prep, I competed in AMERICA'S CUP NATURAL BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS where I won figure overall title. This qualified me for NATURAL MS. UNIVERSE so we decided to do that show as well. I'm proud to say that 3 weeks later I won overall figure as well! This year on May 28th I competed in the MUSCLE BEACH INTERNATIONAL CLASSIC where I won figure medium class.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

Heavy weight training 4-5 times a week. Cardio 4 times a week.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I try to keep it simple.

Arrow Sample Meal Plan:

    Meal #1
    6 egg whites, oatmeal, multivitamin

    Meal#2
    Chicken breast, brown rice,broccoli

    Meal#3
    Isolate whey protein shake

    Meal #4
    White fish, veggies, yams

    Meal #5
    Egg whites and 1 tbs. cod liver oil. Meal #6 is another protein shake

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Whey protein isolate and glutamine for recovery. Multivitamin/multimineral pack.

Why Do You Love Fitness?

Fitness has changed my life in many ways. To start I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm mentally and physically strong, I feel good, I have learned a lot about myself through training. I love to talk to people about nutrition and benefits of weight training. I love to challenge myself and set new goals.

What Are Your Future Fitness Plans?

This year I will try to defend my title as NATURAL MS UNIVERSE; we're trying to expand our personal training business with my husband, and eventually we would love to became husband and wife team of natural bodybuilding and conduct seminars about healthy lifestyle and natural bodybuilding.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?

The one tip I would like to give is to believe in yourself, train hard, focus but know how to have fun. Get advice from other competitors about nutrition and training and find what works for you.
