How Did You Get Started? I started bodybuilding my freshman year of high school. I was very skinny so me and a buddy of mine started lifting in his basement. The rest as they say is history! What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
The one I am on now... I like to start with a light set then add more weight to each set. The first exercise is the heaviest and works the entire muscle, the others help shape the muscle.
Monday - Chest/triceps
Tuesday - Quads/calves
Squats
1 x 10 1 x 8 Single leg presses
1 x 10 1 x 8
2 x 8
donkey calf raise
Wednesday- Back/Biceps
Weighted pullups
Lat pulldowns to the front
1x8 2 x 6
2 x 8
Preacher bench curls
2 x 8
2 x 8 Thursday-Shoulders/traps
Seated military press to the front
1 x 8 1 x 6 Front raises
3 x 10 Bent over side raises
2 x 10 Reverse pec deck
3 x 10 Rear shrugs
Friday Hamstrings/Calves
1 x 8 1 x 6 Single leg curls
2 x 8 Standing calf raises
2 x 10 Seated calf raises
Abs are done with legs
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Nutrition to me is about 70% of my program. I typically eat 7-8 times a day. I like a high protein/low carb/low fat diet. I like to take in about 375 grams of protein a day.
I also drink water all day long, about ten 16 oz glasses. What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Protein powder, you can never get too much protein. I'm a hardgainer so I have to take in a lot.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
To me it's like sculpture. I like to look in the mirror to see what my body needs and focus on that so I can build the biggest, most symmetrical body I can.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? Just to keep building and trying to get the perfect body. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? Eat, a lot. Dieting is a small part of the puzzle and without the proper diet you'll never get the gains you want. Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
