How Did You Get Started?
After I had my daughter in 1999 I weighed over 200lbs. I hated the way I looked and felt and knew I had to change! So I enrolled in my local gym and started doing cardio and circuit training. In 8 months I had lost 80 lbs! I loved fitness so much that I got certified as a personal trainer and nutritionist and the rest is history!
After a few years someone at my gym suggested that I compete so I did a show and was hooked! Now my goal is to go pro in the next 5 years and own my own gym.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Lots of cardio! I do at least an hour of cardio everyday. I used to train like a bodybuilder, one body part a day, but ended up putting on too much muscle. So now I used a split like this.
45 minutes to 1 hour before breakfast.
Incline Dumbbell Presses: 4 sets of 15-20 reps Pec Flyes: 4 sets of 15-20 reps Flat Straight Bar Bench: 3 sets of 15 reps Pushups With Feet On Bench: 3 sets of 15 reps One Arm Dumbbell Rows: 4 sets of 15 reps Lat Pulldowns: 4 sets of 15 reps
1 hour cardio before breakfast.
45 minutes to 1 hour before breakfast.
Lateral Dumbbell Raises: 4 sets of 12-15 reps Front Raise: 4 sets of 12-15 reps Standing EZ Bar Curls: 4 sets of 15 reps One Arm Dumbbell Curl: 4 sets of 15 reps Skull Crushers: 4 sets of 15 reps Dumbbell Tricep Kickbacks: 4 sets of 15 reps
1 hour cardio before breakfast.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I use the cave man plan by Charla Cormier. Here's an Example day.
Eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Around 200 Calories each.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
VPX Clenbutrx and VPX Redline have leaned me out like crazy. I use a protein made by a lady here in my home town that owns her own store called TKO Sports Nutrition its called Profusion Protein and it is awesome. I also love Reset AD to keep my thermos working strong!
Why Do You Love Fitness?
I love it because it teaches you so much about yourself through the struggle of diet and training. I also love that you can never be perfect so you have to keep striving to improve and get better so you never get bored! It's a competition with yourself, the best kind to have!
What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?
My dream is to go pro and become a famous fitness model. I also want to make my grandmother proud. She passed in 2003 and was my biggest supporter.
What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?
My daughter. I wanted to be a healthy example for her, and to feel good about myself. What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I want to be an IFBB Pro within 5 years, get a supplement contract as a spokes model, and open my own gym!
What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?
Never give up. "If you believe it you can achieve it." Hard work and discipline will pay off, and in the end it will all be worth it!

Jen Hendershott! I have been friends with her since 2001 and she is the most loving, giving, down to earth person I have ever met, also have you seen her Abs and fitness routine? She rocks!
