How Did You Get Started?

Watching Fitness America on T.V. and my husband saying I should do that. I really missed competing like when I was younger.


What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

My split is 2 days on 1 day off:

  • Monday: Legs
  • Tuesday: Chest and Triceps
  • Wednesday: Off
  • Thursday: Back and Biceps
  • Friday: Shoulders
I will superset everything on Saturday 6 weeks out from a contest. Cardio every day for one hour except 6 weeks out when I am closer to a show.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Beverly International Mass and Ultra 40's and I love VPX Clenbutrex. It gives me awesome energy and really helps me lean out.

Why Do You Love Fitness?

I love the feeling I get when others look at me and say, "How do you do it?" All I have to say is that it is pure will power. I make vacation plans based on where the closest gym is. I have not always been this way. I was a gymnast for 11 years and a high school and college cheerleader, but there is no better thrill then pumping iron or finishing a five mile run.


What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I want to earn my pro card just for the fact to say I did it. There are thousands of fitness girls out there and only a hand full of us who are going to make it. But at 32 with two children, a husband and a thriving personal training career I would just like to finish that accomplishment. I would love to model more and get picked up by a supplement company, but right now I will take one day at a time.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?

Keep training hard and don't quit. It is easy to do one show and get frustrated, but my best advice is ask the judges. Wait until the show is over and say "What can I do to better myself onstage?" Honesty is hard to take sometimes but at least you will know next time around.

Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Competitors/Bodybuilders?

Kelly Ryan - she actually is the one I saw on Fitness America and I said that's me. Craig Titus and Kelly are the nicest couple around and if you hear differently then don't listen. Jen Hendershott.. dynamic competitor and great personality. I live two hours south of Jen and she is awesome.
